How much is it to hire the hall?
The quickest way is to look under booking the hall and you will find a tariff page
Do I need to pay a deposit?
A minimum non-refundable deposit of £25 is required to be paid on booking confirmation.
Do I need to pay for electricty
The lights and electricity are included in the hire cost.
Heating will need to be paid for, we have a slot meter which takes £1 and £2 coins.
Can I have a bar?
The bar is available to hirers on any day of the week run by village hall volunteers. Please look under booking the hall on the tariff page for further information.
Can I bring my own alcohol into the hall?
No, Due to licensing restrictions, you are unable to bring alcohol onto the premises and sell it, or give it away if you charge admission to the event.
Do I need to clean up after my booking?
Yes, you must leave the hall as you found it, clean and tidy. This will include turning the sockets / lights off and removing any rubbish.
How many tables and chairs do you have?
We have 30 tables and 70 chairs.
Can I use the kitchen?
Yes, you can. Use of the kitchen is included in the hire of the main hall. You must wash up, clean the kitchen and empty the bin after use. Please do not bring extra cooking equipment into the hall.
Can I have a band or DJ?
Yes, you can. Please make sure that all of their equipment has been PAT tested and that they are fully insured. Please be aware that the hall is in a residential area and all music must stop at 11pm.
Can I decorate the hall?
Yes, you can, but please do not stick things to the walls or ceiling. There are hooks that decorations can be attached to.
Can I bring animals into the hall?
No, not without specific prior consent from the Trustees.
